rear caliper

long story short but thanks to another member I will soon be upgrading my front brakes to 312mm... In light of this I thought I would revamp the rear. just purchased some brembo discs and pads and then realise I have a seized caliper on the rear.. Seen as I'm buying complete kit including front calipers... Is it possible to put my front calipers on the rear.

I probably know the answer to this already but wasn't sure so thought I would ask

No it would not even nearly slightly work... It's a completely different type of calliper

Ahhhhhh I presumed they were similar to each other. I will just have to hunt down another caliper for now ... Thanks for the info much appreciated

I've got an a3 8l rear caliper if your interested

It has been done, you need custom brackets, brake apportioning valve to balance the brakes, and separate hand brake calipers, very expensive.
