Rear Brake caliper

    Help needed.
    I HAVE AN A3 1.9 TDI T REG(1999) AND THE REAR CALIPER HAND BRAKE LEAVER KEEPS STICKING ON SLIGHTLY, I HAVE NOTICED THE LEAVER DOSENT RETURN FULLY TO ITS SEAT. BOTH SIDES. (CABLES HAVE BEEN REPLACED ). THE LEVER IS SPRING LOADED BUT IS THERE ALSO ANOTHER SPRING SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE CALIPER TO HELP IT RETURN...IF NO OTHER SPRING THEN IS IT KNACKERED .

    ANY HELP APPRECIATED

    I think there is a long spring that goes through the cable at the caliper end, well known for sticky calipers the 8l,s
