Fitted Eibach 25mm ARB to rear lowered and now i get a squeaking noise.

Now this is obviously the ARB rotating in the Bushings on the bracket holding the bar to the cross member but what i want to know if this will eventually stops when the bushings have bedded in or are the brackets too tight?

mine never squeaked and doesnt move/rotate. I was going to say that the brackets are not tight enough

Hi Abdus,

i might try that then as allways been too scared to tighten bolts too tight.

p.s. just had thought reading your reply, the ARB wouldn't rotate as the whole swingarm moves with which the ARB is attached to.

So guess it just must be not tight enough.

Many Thanks

Well tightened the brackets and whilst doing so noticed on the left that the knocking noise i have been hearing for a while now is actually the backbox knockingon the arb.
Thankfully it's on the lip on the box but i will look into getting the box moved higher whne i get the twin pipes fitted.

did this fix the squeak? I'm looking at ARB's now and would be good to know what it is incase I come across it. cheers.
