re RNSE Mk 2 nav

Hi, I have a 2007 A4 with factory RNSE which is the Mk1 version I have read that the MK2 is a far better unit these seem to have only been available in the A3 but will fit the A4 with some modification.ical to ther .

I have been offered a unit which is identical physically to the MK1 unit the unit is new 2015 and has the media button instead of the older cd/tv button which I understand is the main obvious difference , can anyone please let me know if this is a MK2 .

They are physically identical. With an A4 conversion it is normal to only have the MEDIA button as the difference. You can check the lid and see if the part number ends in 193 rather than 192, that would also suggest it is a MK2.

Only other real way is to power it up and check the screen resolution, software version, MEDIA page etc.
