ODIS (Offboard Diagnostic System)
There is an RCA to Ami Cable available for the MMI4G within the Audi A3 8v. In order to view any video source while in motion you would need a VIM activation which is completed via editing the firmware of the MMI unit.
The ODBII port outputs information which you can use a mobile app to decode. One example would be:

Once you have all the needed connections and VIM you would be able to mirror your mobile device screen to your MMI. If you are in or around London I am amble to perform VIM activations.
