Rattle and roll

Hi, I have a 2.5 TDI and once it has got to running temperature the idle is awful. The car feels like it is going to shake itself to pieces. Has anyone else experienced this and have any ideas what it might be ?

For temperature related running issues the Coolant temp sensor would be my first suspect. Camshaft Sensor would be next. But best to get a diagnostic done to see if there are any fault codes logged. Look in the VCDS Map section of the forum as there's probably a member near you who can help you out for Beer tokens. (There's a link at the top of this page).

Hopefully it won't be the case, but if the shaking stops when you depress the clutch pedal you have a failing DMF (Dual Mass Flywheel) many ££££££££'s
