Radio to dis problem

Hopefully an easy fix. Sometimes the radio station or cd track will come up on dis but sometimes it does not. All other functions work fine. Mmi mfsw works fine other than when it does not come up on dis the steering wheel button for changing track does not work but if it does come on dis you can use steering wheel button to change track. Does anybody no whats wrong.

Was there any retrofits of any of the mmi components done recently ?

Yes i retro fitted mfsw. But it did this before when i did not have mfsw

I would be tempted to say it’s more wiring issue somewhere- loose connector etc. It’s pain but take this off and make sure all of the connections are right n secured .
