Radio speaker question?

Just changed my A3 Tdi from a 1.9 to a later 2.0 and in both vehicles the rear speakers are not working/activated is there any way I can get these to work?? or is it just because I have a very basic radio?

Rear speakers are fed from an amp built into the sub in the boot - you don't say what radio you have (is it an Audi one?) or what year or model the car is - but if you have an Audi radio, check -

All plugs are inserted into rear of radio
Fuse 18 in the engine bay fuse box is present and not blown

Its an Audi radio original factory fitted (not sure which it is?) Vehicle is a A3 2009 2.0 Tdi SE Had exactly the same thing with my previous A3 1.9.
Will check the fuse soon as it stops raining.
