My car's up at the Audi dealer.
It needs 4 tyres.
The only ones they have in stock are Continentals at £148 each, which seems excessive.
What's the correct S-line tyre spec,so I can phone around ?
The load rating too please !

Yeah,that's them.
They're extra load though and I can't remember the coding.
Car's not here for me to go out and check (obviously).
ta

Cheers,I think the 'Y' signifies extra load.
Ta for that.

Isn't Y the speed rating?

Normally extra load tyres have EL at the end of the number.

Yeah,you're right.
Y is the speed rating.
You just have to specify 'extra load' when ordering them.
My local dealer is evidently getting greedy with their tyre prices.
Last year,they wanted £106 for F1's.
Now they want £137.
I've ordered 4 Dunlop sportmax's from an independent for £104 each,fitted.
I've no idea what they're like, but I only have the car for another 9 months so I'm not overly bothered.
Ta again.

the Rossos which it comes with are pretty high specced ( so i found out )
not the usual Naff tyre on a new car.

Im surprised they wanted to put Contis on though

the contis on my tyre are £116 each,

If you compare with teh likes of fast fit, add on about £ 10 per tyre and thats about the cost you should pay at a tyre fitter place

you got a good deal on the Sport max Bowfer :) ;)

Is that a good price ?
£88.70 + VAT = £ 104.22

They offered me Yokohamas for £ 83.70+ VAT = £ 98.34 as well, but I've no experience of them at all,so I went for the Dunlops.
