Right, dont shoot me down in flames if i sound stupid here, im just quoting the person selling me the Audi S3.
Right he is getting a new "pipe fitted, as there is a small hole in the existing one" Apparently this pipe is located before the down pipe. Due to my limited knowledge of cars in general i was hoping someone would be able to tell me the name of said pipe (Before the downpipe :sadlike:)
Sorry to bore the likes of the experts on here with my trivial questions, but i suppose everyone has to start learning sometime :)

Cheers in advance for any replies!

Could be anything!

Doubt it is the exhaust he means, as the downpipe is the first bit so there is nothing else before that except the turbo.

Perhaps he just means one of the turbo boost hoses, a vacuum pipe or air intake pipe that has a hole in it? That is quite a common fault

As long as he fixes it and there are no running issues (it should have smooth boost and a smooth idle)
