quick haldex question

does anyone know if a s3 haldex rear diff is the same as a mk5 r32 diff same ratios ect ? mine has a slight wine and want to get it changed for a low mile one that i have managed to find

Depends what year your S3 is. The Mk 5 Golf has the Gen 2 Haldex whereas the facelift (2009 on) S3 has Gen 4.

Not sure about ratios though - wasn't aware they even had them!

yeah no mines second gen pre facelift model , im on about the diff's ratio not the haldex i would imagine its the same but you never know !
