My son has just bought an 8P1 Quattro with the diesel engine (his mum has the TFSI Quattro) and we have noticed there is a noticeable siren sound from the turbo.
I checked all the hoses were on and the sound is coming from the turbo, now there are a lot of threads on here about using the mr muscle so I went out and bought some however from under the car there is a big old 4wd box under the turbo so access is very limited.... has anyone managed to undo the v-band clamp and do the cleaning method on a Quattro ?
I haven't looked yet at how much work there is in removing some of the 4wd system to get access so I thought I would ask on here first.
