quattro gearbox

    Hey guys was just wanting some answers about converting my 98 1.8t sport a4 into 4wd is it possible to use the quattro gearbox and running gear? Thanks.

    Too much work as the floorpan between quattro and FWD is totally different and will require major work in welding alone ! Easier to buy a quattro sport and just swap your fancy bits to it ! I have 2 quattro sports if you're interested...

    If its that big of a job ill leave it and just run with fwd for now then i buy one of the cars off u if i had the money but cheers for the offer

    are they totally different floorpans? b4 fwd and quattro share the same floor, and b4 quattro share the same suspension setup and everything as a b5?? worth looking into if you can find a quattro in a scrapyard and get the bits cheap

    fwd a4 has totally different rear susp. compared to quattro...

    Chris is right, deffo different floor pan from rear seats back inc arches . trust me if it could be done i'd have done it. i changed cars intead.

    Q, any of those tqs's avants?
