Quattro and FWD suspension

    Are you meaning are the fronts of the 4wd and fwd the same? I believe so. Same on the Passat B5 too.

    hmm... well, thinking about it, the rears will be different. Are the springs the same al round though??

    Springs and shocks same type/style on 2wd and 4wd, Completely different for both on rear sadly

    Just to clarify Marks explanation:

    The front end is the same, obviously there will be spring and shock differences depending on the engines etc but we have S4 front shocks on our A4 and the springs would swap over too.

    The rear end is different though, as the Quattro has double wishbone rear suspension and the FWD cars have a torsion beam, so none of it would swap over.
