guys and girls im in need of some help
the last few days iv been hearing a moaning noise what sounded like a wheel bearing but dose not change when connering and you can only hear it when you have taken your foot off the loud peddle and goes away when you acclerate agen it sound also sounds the same with your foot on the clutch in and out of gear, the car is a a3 1.8t quatrro 66000 miles 2001 plate 6speed box help me people i dont wont it to be my diff gone as its gonna cost me alot

Is is speed related, ie at 30mph or 60mph? Does it do it when not moving?

speed related only dose it about 20mph+ the same throw every gear and not rev related thats why it realy sounds like diff to me

by bearing do u mean gearbox bearing, diff bearing or what?

but when ive normally had wheel bearing on there way out they make different sounds when going round left and right hand bends, and its also not affecting the drive at all but dont wont to drive it at the same time just in case
