Puddle light and footwell retrofit

Godd day gentlemen,

I have searched the forum but my efforts have been unsuccessful...

Firstly I am in South Africa, so bear in mind there may be model tweeks. I have a 1.8tfsi A3 (it's a 2013 but not the 8V) which does not have puddle lights nor footwell lights. So I would like to retrofit them.

Does anyone have any advice, threads that could point me in the right direction so that I can achieve this... I wouldn't know where to start with this...
