Proud new owner of an A7

Just thought I would say Hi as I have returned back to Audi-Sport...

I once had an A4, I decided to change for a VW Golf as I was not using the car much but within 5 months I just had to get an Audi back... here she is:

I've got a couple of questions regarding the navigation/system software...
Can I update these myself, if so, is there an Audi portal that owners can log into the get the software updates?

I've seen a few SD cards on ebay for the 2014 maps but then they are priced at £20, so I wonder if they are more harm than good.
Do the SD map cards also include the firmware updates for the MMI system as well?

SD cards need activation by audi usually, so £20 buys you very little.

Firmware updates would usually be done via the dealer when in for services etc, although other places may have access to the systems aswell.
