    Utter BS.

Where does the USA stand on the GC?

I mean they are happy to release photos of SH when he was captured - literally being pulled out of the hole by a US Special ops soldier/translator.

Now they get all ancy because some medioca photos of him have been leaked by obviously a US soldier (or some sort of US personnel) and they say they are breaking the GC?

    Hypocrites.

Audi5e WTF are you talking about no war is a game. Even if you are trying play with words. That may be normal in SA but in the UK war isnt a game...

    First world war 15 000 000 Dead
    Russian Civil War 9 000 000 Dead
    Stalins Regime 20 000 000 Dead
    Second World War 55 000 000 Dead
    Chinese Civil War 2 500 000 Dead
    Korean War 2 800 000 Dead
    Afghanistan 1 800 000 Dead
    Iran - Iraq War 1 000 000 Dead
    Sudan 1 900 000 Dead
Since 1990 (inc of all or most wars and still counting) 261 000 000 Dead

SO this is one big /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/swear.gif of game isnt it! They all wanted to die playing a game.

Cant you guys see past the politics for one second? ItÂ’s not fun for the people who are caught up in it.

I do realise that you maybe referring to leaders but my comment was that war to the person involved (your generalisation before I prompted more depth to your terminology) is not a game.

I thought that the point of this IS the politics behind why it was done. They release the picures and let some other sucker take the flack and rub their hands behind those peoples backs. We all know that not only is war not fun but positively horrific.

i think its a grave misjudgement to think by humiliating their leader (saddam hussein) will cause a reduction in terrorist activity. in my opinion its now either
    a) it will be like glasgow when arthur thomson popped his clogs. all hell will break loose as "opportunists" will be looking to lead a revolution now that their leader is "gone"
    b) it will /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/swear.gif them off more and increase recruitment in to anti-american groups/terrorists
Either way - more stupidity from the US!

Is it, or is there something else going on that we don't know about?

Maybe they are hinting to Iran and North Korea, "stop your nonsense" with the nuclear issue or look what we can do to you???

(couldn't resist throwing that one in...)

Conspiracy theorists of the world unite!!! :))
