after putting up some pictures been asked to do a project thread.... so hear goes ( sorry about all the pics of work so far )

how it stands so far, cage still needs harness bar fitting, have a louvred vent to fit the bonnet interior to finish.
not hundred percent sure if the purple is staying thinking about white?
 
i like it. looks good so far. keep the updates coming :)
 
As said mate, nice to see something different done on a B5.

Do you get any rubbing with the low et on the rears?

Also, what frames did you use to fit the bucket seats?
 
my missus said the same on sunday after a drive so purple may stay.

only had rubbing once when we moved house and was a lot of weight in the back, but even before the cage back seats were very rarely used. had to make my own subframes as apparently unless you buy that manufacturers seat they wont sell you a subframe and want reciepts and serial numbers from you ie. if you want cobra frames you have to buy cobra seats. everywhere i cantacted tha listed a4 frames said the same. if you strip down a standard seat there are various ways of making a frame, i cut everything away leaving the three mounting points then welded in a box section frame around that.
