Private plate transfer
Hello fellas, im intending to transfer my private plate to another vehicle, but dvla say both cars must be available for inspection on their site, having spoken to someone over the phone said its a 10% chance they do that.
Im confused why?? The other car is modified, which isnt declared to dvla, such as coilovers, alloys, window tints etc, could this be a possible trap or an issue.

Has either car ever been declared a write off ?
I think you are more likely to get pulled as people sometimes use plate changes to try and hide issues with write offs.
I think they are interested in engine numbers , chassis numbers etc .
Also has the car ever been stopped and reported for misrepresentation of the plate. They may want to see that it's not got funny characters or loads of dots.

Nothing like that at all, no fancy dots its shown just how its supposed to be. I was just in doubt about the mods.
