private plate change

hi all i am looking for some advice .i recently put a deposit on an audi a4 at a dealers problem is the car as a private plate on it that the last owner wants to keep so the dealer as applied to the DVLA to change the reg back to the original number as anyone got any idea how long this takes problem is i have sold my car to help fund the purchase so i am relying on the lads at work for a lift its approaching two weeks since the dealer sent everyting to the DVLA but as yet it as not arrived back

Hi , it took around three weeks we i done the same thing ,,,, sit tight may happen early next week.

the tax discs and mot's get sent back to them within a week, well mine did (changed mine last week)

still waiting on the log book tho

about 3-4 weeks mate.....keep buying the lads a brekkie for a bit onger
