    i reckon i am due a cambelt change what price can i expect to pay i will be going to an indepent garage

    Around £300 with all genuine parts would be about right

    no driving a alpha romeo 147 2004 1.6 but still missing the 1999 Audi for some reason just cant bring myself to scrap it or sell it

    funnily enough after reading about someone else audi dying suddenly i thinmk it could also be the cambelt snapped or broken in my audi although i seen a recept of work when i bought the cam has only done 20,000 miles

    Alfas are dear, they have a ballance shaft belt aswell, and a variator which sometimes needs changeing, but the last alfa i did was both belts & tensioner for £200.
