How do you remove the wood trim that surrounds the radio and heated rear switches etc, just can't seem to figure it out and don't want to chip it or break it.

thanks

Ian

Think you have to remove both the radio and heater controls as theres screw behind them and the rest of it is on clips iirc !!!

Hi Ian,

Just done this myself to replace both the radio and climate control unit, using a thin screwdriver you can tease the clips away at both the top and bottom of the trim then, to avoid breaking it, you must dismount the stereo and pull it far forward as possible, you'll then see 2 8mm bolts that are securing the trim to the center console either side of the stereo unit itself, undo them and simply side over the stereo and there you have it, job done. The climate control unit need not be disturbed.
