Does anyone know of a decent company that recons steering racks, my 1999 a6 4.2 quattro ones seized, audi confirmed it yesterday with a couple of other things, inlet manifold seized £1600, I ordered gaskets for £33 so I can strip out and sort. and steering top arms just started to go they wanted £4000 to sort car out LOL. I was as shocked as the master tech who test drove it and when turned into garage went to let wheel go through his hands, but didnt self centre and nearlly ended up in the showroom.
