Posting a Parcel

Has anyone attempted to post an item/parcel at their local post office with these ongoing strikes taking place?
How long did the item take to arrive, that's if it's arrived at all? lol

I posted recorded letters to the VAT, Inland Rev and also DVLA and none have arrived yet and that was over a week ago now.

Use someone else if you value the item Joe.

Send it 1st Class Recorded, I sent a letter recorded to Vodaphone on Friday and today they rang up about me cancelling my two contracts this morning, I think the Royal Mail give priority to recorded/signed for stuff...

TBH I don't think it is any different to the usual slapdash service we have come to expect from Royal Mail.

I have a few VAT and inland revenue letter yet to be sent, I was mainly enquiring for an item I sold on ebay(The item that someone paid 66 quid for in my other post!), so we'll see how it goes, sent it by 1st class mail today(15th) see how long it'll take.
