Ive had some time off this week so decided to spend some of it doing a bit of a post winter detail. I started off by claying the whole car and wheels with megs quick detailing clay kit, this did a good job of removing all the tar and contaminents ive picked up over the winter. Next up(after rewashing of course) was AG SRP to take out some of the light swirls/defects ive picked up, this was followed up by a coat of AG Extra Gloss as a sealent before two coats of Natty's Blue wax. The wheels were given two coats of Natty's wheel sealant and the tyres dressed with AG Tyre Dressing. Just thought I would share with you the results sorry but no before pics.

Forgot to mention i gave the engine bay a quick clean too and gave the plastic covers a coating with AG bumper care.

I'm quite pleased with the results just need to buy myself a rotary and some cutting polishes to take it to the next level. What do you think? Comments and suggestions very welcome.

I treat the lights in much the same way as the paintwork, AG SRP first to take out the minor defects/scratches then sealed with AG Extra Gloss Protection. I dont put any wax on the lights though.

Yeah dead easy mate, i actually took my calipers off the car to do mine to ensure full coverage but you can do them on the car. If you do them on the car make sure you mask the disks and hoses up well mate.

Depends on the drying time of the laquer you use mate. Ive used the kits in the past mate and to be honest i think you are as well just getting a tin of halfords brake laquer and you will also save yourself some money. Make sure and give the calipers a good clean with a wire brush before mate.
