Right new pictrues of mine. Now obviously the car isn't going to be to everyones taste. Just a quick note about the wheels and 'cleanliness' - I do have a set of TT Comps at home but treads are low and I'm wanting the to be painted Satin Orange (laquered Matt maybe) and I'm also wating until I can afford a set of Michellin Piloys so it's gonna be a while. I would also fancy a full enhancement detail but again funds lack and performance is a focus at the moment (minor things but all useful);
No interior pictures until I have given the inside a proper hoover. Cheers for comments.
Looking good wizza, orange tt comps should do the trick. Front end looks nice and clean aswel, have you thought about spraying the fmic black.
Bored and thought id post some pics of my 1st A3 1.8T. She was a beauty. And the reason i fell in love with audis.
@Wizza - looks good pal, what cooler is that and did it go in nicely? see you got to keep your fogs etc (what i want) you mind sharing a pic of that tow strap and exhaust cutout? thanks buddy cheers

Hi dude, yeh it was ok i suppose, just took more maintaining, due to the filter getting grit and loads more dirt than you would further up in the bay. Looked cool tho lol. Cost about £40, but the carbonio is alot more exspensive, but made a better sound for some reason?
And i have no dyno print outs for the AUM so i cant say really, just know that i keep up with my mates ibiza cupra, with a ko3s, fmic, and remap. He does beat me but not as he should if i had stock bhp.
Heres the pics i took of the AUM when i first got it, really liked this car, but due to the damadge and the usual annoying problems iv fell out with it lol got alot of plans coming up after my holidays tho, so watch this space
Aye, I wanted to do something different with the car and plus TT Comps in orange would finish the exterior nicely although front bumper needs redoing.. I have thought about the FMIC in black and then I would do the following with the badge on a standard grill (badge is already orange);
Your motor is looking good. The chrome mirror caps was my original idea not long after getting car back in 2009 until I decided on the orange route
The front mount is a Forge from Awesome GTi - they themselves actually fitted it and put it this way, it's a tight fit, as such;
As you can see I have bolted the strap in place as shown above BUT really the buckle should be horizontal and bolted directly upwards (as Prawn informed me and theoretically this be true).
Exhaust cut-out as follows. Not fantastic by any means because it was a case of constant trial and error (take note of all important Mr. Tickle!);
Note that behind I had to cut into the chassis due to the back-box being suited for a Mk4 Golf and not an A3 - the A3 version would sit below the rear valance and chassis. I will need to check this cutout soon for any rust as at the time myself and my mate just sprayed over with primer, paint and laquer. Although from a quick glance it seems to be OK.

They been put to the cooker for a couple of minutes. And once the glue came off the headlamp, the could be sprayed in black. Then put windows glue back on and job done. lol

Looks nice, personally I'd ditch the front plate all together - keep it in the boot. I think it'd look better if it were a vinyl strip type off centre on the right hand side of the bumper maybe instead. Depends if you want the hassle off the old bill though, the front tints don't look standard
yeah it was you just got to trim the middle down to be level. iv got 76mm down pipe, 63 exhaust with 1 box 1 resinator, samco tip, induction, forge 008 dv, UNITRONIC stage 1+ (18psi map), SSW rims, JOM coilovers, JOM stabilizer links, glowshift gauges, S3 bootspoiler and then just sound hey!

Do you actually use these gauges? Cant be the easiest to read as you have to take your eyes off the road
hahaahahahahahah its actually easy to see, i sit very far back so i just need to glance up, besides you not suppose to stare at gauges they just there for safety reasons! if the car feels sluggish you check boost, when you on the highway you look at oil pressure thats it.
Here is mine.. with the 17" RS4 wheels painted for the summer and a s3 backdoor spoiler. Hope you like it this way
