Here's Blue the day after I got him
& as some of you know he's off the road at the moment, but here he is with his new wheels
Mind those kerbs mate
lol, he isn't going anywhere soon.... But I will do
IS your car one of these Santorin Blue ones or is it another blue?
Santorin Blue it is, but its in need of a good clean tho
What's the spec on the Rota grids? Size offset spacers tyres etc? Love them!
Love the wheels mate. Where did you get them from? They 18"x8.5?
Car looks great although really needs lowering a touch more to properly pull off those wheels! Or get rid of the stetch tyre as that makes the arch gap look even bigger
They are Rota Grid Drifts & the specs are 18 x 9.5 et23 I've had them fitted with 225/40's with alittle stetch could have gone 235 or 245.
I haven't fitted any spacers but I'm thinking maybe 3-5mm spacer on the back
Your 100% right it does need more low's which I do plan on doing once I get it back on the road
9.5x18!? Surprised how well it fits! I wonder if they'll clear my big brakes though.
What brakes are you running?
lambo brakes the posh tw@.
i love those wheels, always have.
Once lowered wont that rub like f***? where did you get them from mate?
They will clear i reckon , unless you want to sit it full on in the weeds,
Trooper... Lambo brakes?
Tell me more
No, there's loads of room!
I'm thinking 50-60mm lower, the stretch will help loads.
Got them from Rota, I use to go school with the MD of Rota, I didn't get them cheap before you ask.
But I could ask if you want?
Lambo brembo's 4 pot's from the rear of the Gallardo. The Aston Martin Vanquish also shares the same calipers. They're massive!
Sorry for the **** mobile pic and car was dirty! Just finished the Forge fmic before this pic ........
Looking very nice Ajay
Cheers matey Just a shame i haven't washed it for around 3 weeks now lol
If thats 3 weeks of dirt... Do you just drive it around an underground car park?
The shine is great for 3 weeks !
This realy is one of ( if not THE best) looking S3 ive seen
I'm thinking the same! That black is lush, do you detail it?
How much we talking mate? Really love them wheels.
Troopa, arnt the pads a fortune for the brakes? What size discs you running?
Thanks guys, appreciate it I'll try to wash it once a week (but the cold has stopped me from doing that now lol) Then i speed detail it every couple of days to keep on top of it. I park in my driveway which has leaves and dust blowing everywhere and my work car park is outdoor surrounded by trees so i get alot of **** settling on the car from that! I use Auto Glym Super Resin Polish every 2 weeks and it really helps with the shine and maintenance! Easiest product to ever apply and buff off!!
The brakes - the pads are more expensive than others yes, purely because the pads are also shared by Lambo's, Ferrari's, Audi R8's, and Aston Martin's. These are all for the rear of the cars btw. Mine are EBC Red Stuff which are around £140? I'm running LCR discs which are 323mm. That's the biggest 5x100 disc you could fit in it.
Wow, what a beautiful S3, Ajay. You've obviously put a massive amount of thought, cash and love into your project with this and the car is a credit to you. Stunning!! xx
Here's mine in the rain today...
The rear plate with LED lights ans Sandip inspired - Vorsprung durch Technik (Audi - advanced through technology slogan)
Winter mode is here............ (sorry for the **** mobile pic again!)
Man that looks cool. Very similar to my new track mode but I have lime green wheels and lime green tow eye.
What size bolt did you use for the tow eye? I just posted a thread about it??? cheers
Haha that's brilliant, we should defo get a couple pics together!

Great way to make an s3 look poor that
They're Amber Thanks for the comments people!
Yep, one piece lights arriving soon, wondering if they should be original or with dark insides What do u think about the grille, would it be better all black or badgeless considering there are new lights coming? I'm from Estonia btw
Estonia, quite far then!,its all personal choice really,if it was mine id have matt black wheels badge and grill surround, spacers lower and keep the one peice lights as they are,if not some light coloured laminex film!
That looks mint mate, same colour as mine too. I was going to get these after seeing them on edition. Back to the drawing board then
