Aye maybe with "Beer Goggles" ON, cant see any resemblance to a Q7..LOL

Did you take that in 4:3 mode? Def squashed the aspect.

Enjoy your car in any case!!

Thanks mate, yeah being a real good boy with the car maintenance :)

Haha, I'm slim but definitely not as per the reflection, looks like those hall of mirrors you get at fairs! I'll see if I can line it up with my forehead next time ;) lol

.....nice beading Rob, got some of that on mine just now. Been p1ssing down all day!

Nice mate what do you use on the paint as a top up

Cheers J ;o)

I use Gyeon wet coat it's dead easy just spray on in a mist from a squirty bottle then move it round the car by jet washing in an upward direction if that makes sense then dry off with a M/F towel.

Every fourth wash I use Gyeon Cure. This combo seems to work well. Shampoo is Gyeon Bathe +

:cheerful: It comes up really well almost looks 'wet' once I've given it the once over. Didn't stay that way too long after the rain last night and all today but at least I managed to do under the arches and remove the two weeks of fly/moth splat. Also cleaned under the hood for the first time.

I prefer not to mix & match products on the paint as they seem to compliment one another, I use Swissvax on the interior and Gtechniq on the pipes though.

Why not indeed mate think we got a box of stuff with ours from DFS lol !

They pretty much always become destroyed when removing. The foam tape does a VERY good job I used a 'Y' floss tooth pick to get it off just managed to hook the nylon thread under the corner then used it side to side to cut through the foam this was after a good blast with the hair drier to soften it up.

Not a good pic as it was not fully light and I was still half asleep but notice how shiny and clean the UK car is compared to the dirty French one :grinning::grinning:

I have used dozens of waxes over the years, some a hit most a miss and a waste of money at times, nothing compares to C1 + Exo2 + C2 v3,just my opinion, once the C1+ Exo2 are applied it's just a matter of topping up the gloss finish with C2 v3,,come the winter months applying wax is difficult because of the cold it doesn't cure nothing repels water like gtechniq Exo2 and other nano coatings from makes like nanolex and Gyeon l had toooo much time on my hands today, just a wash and a couple layers of C2v3 so easy to apply and remove no residue like some waxes give off and long-term paint maintenance is minimal as is View attachment 68863 View attachment 68864 swirlingView attachment 68862 View attachment 68861

Absolutely, can always tell a French car by its dirty tail pipes and dodgy body work, hate driving in French towns/cities as they just don't care about how there cars look IMHO
