Hi all

Picked my A3 up from the bodyshop on Thursday night after getting the front end resprayed due to bad road rash and lacquer peel on the bumper. I told them not to clean the dust off as they were about to rinse it down with a bucket of mucky water and a sponge, I almost died when I looked in the bucket.

Usual 3 bucket wash, don't want to add wax for a few weeks to allow the paint to fully settle

Anyway, here are the pics .

Exterior: Autobrite Purple Velvet shampoo, Autobrite Elegance detailer, Angelwax Vision, Autoglym Instant Tyre Dress, Angelwax Bilberry Wheel Wax

Interior: Autobrite Bubblegum Trim

looks good - how do they deal with the chips into plastic? did they take off the bumper etc before painting and smooth it?

There weren't actually any chips in the bumper, just the lacquer had blistered and peeled. I assume they just sanded it down on the car and sprayed, its actually a pleasure to clean the front end now I always got depressed before when I got to the front.
