Polishing New car

Is it worthwhile polishing a new car? I got given som Meguires Tech Wax for Xmas!

I don't want to do any damage to my new car's paint as in the past I have made a bit of a mess polishing!

tech wax is wax not polish

the wax will protect the cars paint work and give it a nice fresh shine

since your car is new however it still wouldnt hurt to give it a going over yourself anyway

a nice coat of polish followed by a couple of coats of wax!

As above, oh yes, best to correct any factory/dealer inflicted defects then protect it well right from the start.
