Holly Molly, they totalled that A3, "they came out with minor injuries", that's an A+ for the safety aspect of the Audi.

I suppose it's one way to get a Cabriolet. Get the Fire Service to cut off the roof. Amazing that the guys only had minor injuries.

None of the registrations of all these pictures people are posting appear to match the end of the registration you can see in the original article.

This is several months old now! It is an A3 Sportback and no way will Audi make a 5 door Cabriolet!!

Out of interest, has anyone seen any A3 8V Police cars yet?

Crashes like this always look worse as people see the picture of the crashed vehicle after the Fire Brigade have cut the roof off. A before pic will show why they came away with minor injuries.

Circular fogs on the first pic, therefore not 8v

You're a bit late to the thread, as per post #5.

#5 however showed an A6 Sportback, when it is in fact a saloon.

well post 5 said it was an A6, and the picture was there to compare the front of the car, because there is not much left to see of the back anyway.

    :p
