    Just update my iTunes and iPod and now I have a menu on the iPod in Music called Podcasts. What's this about then?

    I'm not sure but I think it's when digital broadcasts, say from DAB radio stations, are released for download. You can store them on your iPod, or other storage device, & then listen at your leisure.

    correct- on the iTunes music store you can browse lists of various podcasts relating to various topics. I think the Financial Times stock markets and various BBC radio shows are also available as Podcasts. They're basically short spoken word articles that update when ever your computer connects to the internet.
