Has anybody tried it as an alternative to a wrap/re-spray? Apparently it doesn't chip or scratch.

My sisters had her golf done Matt black as her paintwork was looking shabby. Must admit it looks well really, I hate Matt black but it looks fine, easy to remove as well if need be.

I will try and find the ones I done on my scooby.
A few of the local lads have done matt black on their cars and has work very well.

and they used the rattle cans to do it.

Im doing my wheels in a week or two with gun metal.

If you google " Subaru Impreza WRX V-Limited 1996 "
my car pops up.

I just wish plasti dip was as cheap here as it is in the states! I want to gun metal grey + pearlize my wheels, where do you guys get it from?

I helped a mate re spray his wheels with the plasti dip, let them set overnight but he did them with the wheels still on the car.... DOH! when we went back to them thenext morning the drips had dryed terribly and there were air pockets under the plasti dip which made it easy to come off. Also, parts of the wheels werent sprayed enough causing them to rip very easily when driving so if you are going to use it i would reccommend buying an extra can or so of it
