I'm planning to get the BBS 19" CH..

Was wondering what measurements do I look for? offsets etc.. ?

    and also tyres..

I'm not that familiar with rim fitments : (

My sister is running them on her MKV. :p

    If you're interested in 19's, the 5x112 fitment is 19x8 et 50

With ET or offset the lower the number, the further out they stick. Strange, but true. 50 is safe, and you can add spacers etc if needed 44 is prob bang on, much lower and you can start to push it a bit, especially if you are lowering the car, I'd assume you are with 19's!

Tyre wise I think it's 215/35/19 or 225/35/19 but someone else who currently runs them will best advise you. :icon_thumright:

Are you planning on lowering the car? 225s will rub, 215s will be fine. I'm gonna get of CHs and run a 10mm spacer on the back...

No you dont mate - they sit perfectly flush with the arch

Check out my A3 TDI thread and S3 thread

There is a perfect picture in the TDI thread showing how flush they are to the arch! :)

Sorry to hijack the thread looking at some rims and they are ET 48, 8.5JX19H2 on 255/35/19 zr 96Y will they fit on no problem?

Also how low do you think I could drop the car on them with just springs with no rub, I currently have a standard SE suspension setup.

Yep bbs splits, I could get some new tyres for them, but other than that they will fit no problems with say a 35mm drop?

Nope, I'd go 225s personally, and you'll be fine.

225's are perfect on CH as the 8J width and high offset gives great clearance.

Slam it, fill the boot, put your fat mates in the back and it still won't rub.

    Lovely.
