Should I have the engine bored larger when installing new pistons or should I be ok using standard bore. I am building a block using new pistons, rods etc and just want to know is it wise to do so and use oversized pistons or should I be ok using standard sized pistons and just fitting all the bits and pieces therefore keeping costs down.

Assuming you are buying new pistons then its worth getting a rebore done tbh especially on a block with mileage on it... I was surprised by the state of mine when I took it apart and the rings were shot... if I had the money spare I would have bought a set of 82.5mm JE's and had a rebore myself...
