I don't think de-chroming is max power, nasty bobykits and spoilers not designed for the car is max power.

yeah i don't understand that comment at all..

now if i were to get a v6 badge and chrome the whole of my grill. you may be half correct.

and. imo. this looks clean , and made it look a little bit different. i like it

Im looking at pics with my chrome grille still there along with my black headlights, just looks wrong! maybe de-chrome the surround but keep the audi badge chrome, but i went for all black look and im happy with it. Much better then a debadged completely black grille as i like the audi badge there.

didn't want to get rid of the rings, so just satin'd them up

I like it. but in your case i would of personally de-chromed the outer grille edge and left the rings chrome, cos it blends in with your headlights if the rings were chrome.
