pics of sludge problem leading to overheating cam which resulted in it siezing and breaking the cam pulley key, this led to the pistons hitting the valves. All done now, new head back on and just have the turbo pipes to put on and new pulley when it arrives and away we go!

This engine should last a while fingers crossed! but I am looking for another complete engine to rebuild at my leisure, needs to have forged pistons though as I really want to get up to 350bhp!

20v turbos have forged pistons and crank as std... I am using Ibiza Cupra pistons (a K03 turbo's engine) at 400hp...
Just get some rifle drilled rods..

...and make sure the donor engine you are looking for has 20mm rods as a starter... AGU, APY, AMK, BAM, APX to name a few... can't remember the engine code for the Ibiza ones...
