Phone Cradle Removal

Anyone know how to remove the phone cradle from the centre armrest?

I've upgraded my phone and bought a new cradle, but can't see how to get the old one out and don't want to break anything.

Just in case anyone else ever needs to do this, the cradle needs to be pushed firmly towards the front of the car and the back end lifted up.
It does require quite a bit of force though.
