    Hi guys,

As you may know i'm after a 3.2 DSG but it seems there is not many out there. So maybe a 2.0 turbo would be better?

Is it possible to get DSG and 4WD on any car apart from the 3.2? If not, which would you go for DSG or 4WD?

What petrol engines are available on the 2006 onwards cars?

Is there a different between TFSI and FSI?

What engine would you choose if you could pick any?

Thanks guys, sorry for all the questions!

    Cheers
    Matt

the turbo gives an extra 30 bhp pre-chipped, more after. It will drink more fuel of course but it would be worth it.

So i take it the 2.0 TFSI is the same engine in the golf GTI? If I chip the TFSI what sort of power are we looking at? 3.2 levels of power?

    Cheers :)

My preference would be the 2.0T but I would say that :) Far more tuneable, more economical and faster (when remapped)

Yes - if you buy the 08/09 facelift
    No - If before.

    1.4 TFSI
    1.6 FSI
    1.8 TFSI
    2.0 TFSI
    2.0 TSI
    3.2 FSI

    "T" stands for turbo

    2.0 TSI (updated 2.0 TFSI)

Yes it is the same engine as the GTI. With just a remap you will see a 30-40bhp gain. Comapanies will market the gains as being more but realistically this is what you will get. The limit of the K03 is about 280-290bhp with other mods to suit - turbo back zorst, fmic, cai, uprated hpfp and stage 2+ remap.

There is no 2.0 TSI its still the 2.0 TFSI according to the Audi configurator anyway. I thought the TSI engine was the turbo and supercharged 1.4 VW were using.

Your right there is a new engine with the same power as the old TFSI but Audi are still calling it TFSI and VW are calling it the TSI.
