Just had an email 'from paypal' to update my account, how do I know if it is genuine?
If I get owt like that I always just go to the website and login. If it's legit, when logged into paypal it will ask you to update.
Make sure you do not follow any links though. Just to go the top bar and type www.paypal.com. Any links from emails could send you to a dodgy paypal which looks exactly the same.
WARNING!!! Potential dodgy link above!!!
Thanks lads, logged in and no signs of updates so I'll ignore it.
Check the paypal website, there is an email address to forward these fake emails too.
email@example.com is the one!
Forward me your paypal login details and I will check whether its genuine or not. I work for the Nigerian branch of paypal.
Thanks mate my email is stupid@not f'inglikely.com
ok I'm short but I get your joke probably not a clever response from me.
I think I should give up the jokes, time fdor a pint.
