I have just taken the car in to the dealers for a few faults to be looked at. Apparently the DSG oil change is due at 20k and the MultiTronic is at 40k. Can any one confirm this? Next, I was informed by the service advisor that if/when the faults were found unless they replaced the part, ie if they just needed to tighten a bolt, then it would not be covered under warranty as the car is over a year old or 12,000 miles. Can any one shed any light on the truth of this?
