Passenger Window Keeps Going Down! Help!

My gf has a black 51plate 1.6 A3. Recently her passenger side window will not go back up once it's gone down even a little. We have to hold the window from either side and push it up.

I've tried re-setting it by holding it up for 10seconds while it's already up but to no avail.
Also tried spraying some WD40 down there but nothing.

Does anyone know why this may be happening? Has the window gone out of shape?

It is likely to be one of the clips that has broken. There are instructions on here on how to repair it, try a search.

Yes, common problem with A3's. It's either a broken clip on the regulator or more than likely you may need a complete new regulator. About £80 fitted IIRC at a VAG specialist.
