Passenger window down and flat battery

    Walked out to my car this morning to find the passenger window down and the battery pretty low, solenoid fluttering when attempting to start..
    Put it on charge now charged enough to wind up passenger window, now i see ESP fault on the dash, what the fck has happened :(

    And it was pissing with rain here in dorset last night all night! Any help appreciated.

    You sat on the key maybe, disable window down from key with vcds.

    Rolled in from shops and left keys on the side last night may of been plausible had i been out. Starts fine but still have ESP fault now?

    OK found this on forums for anyone interested

    Tried a few lock to locks myself and all is well again. No idea about window though.

    Yes a simple drive would make the lights go out.

    Are you sure the key button hasn't been depressed at anytime by anyone but yourself.

    Ok test this, lock the car then try holding the unlock button down & see if the windows start rolling down for a start.

    I would also lock the car with the key in the door, don't use the remote atm, I'm suspicious of windows dropped without any evidence done by the owner.
