Passat individual door locking

2001 1.8se passat. The rear heated window was left on when only the ignition was on and drained to battery to flat . Charged it up again and the clock needed to be reset etc. however there is a problem with the central locking. Whereas it used to be one press on the remote to unlock the drivers door only, and two to unlock all doors, it now only opens drivers door no matter how many times you press unlock.

Is this a comfort feature that was lost when the battery drained that needs to be coded with vag-com or can it be changed from the car\key itself?

It is a comfort feature and it will need to be programmed via vagcom...maybe if you have a look in one of the other sub forums, you will find someone local to you with vag com that should be able to help you out.
