part behind registration plate

what is the piece called that the reg plate fixes onto,or even better do you have a part no. its a s line if that makes a difference??

I assume he's meaning the front plate..... there was a thread on here talking about this recently, and replacement for a US spec part which listed various different part numbers.

Its commonly referred to as a filler plate.

I'll be looking for a new one soon as i've just bought a private plate and will be wanting shorter plates made up. Not sure 'm keen on the chrome strips though?
