Fitted some new front brakes to my car yesterday. Standard discs with Pagid Fast Road pads. While I had it in bits, I carefully applied a coat of silver hammerite to the calipers. See pic below. I think it looks good. Much better than the dirty black they were before. Only problem I have now is bleeding all the air out of the system. Pedal feels like a big sponge at the minute. I clamped the brake hoses before removing them to stop air getting back up, but I can't of clamped them hard enough.
