Am I the only person who thinks Audi run out of paint while their A4 was being sprayed?

My 2001- A4 1.8T in crystal blue looks great (when it's clean) but I hate the grey bits on the bottom of the bumpers? It looks naff!!!

    Audi, what were you thinking?

Lucky you, at least the lowers are meant to be a different colour. My 2002 SE seems to have two totally different versions of Dolphin Grey. The bumpers are visibly different to the rest of the bodywork and thats how they left the factory.

I agree though, seems a little stingy not colouring the whole car. Although I guess they'd have no end of problems with paint chipping off if they did do the lowers.

Hope my new 2.0T S-Line quattro is a little better when it finally gets built and delivered!

    Cheers,

    Matthew

The lowers wern't painted on the earlier B6's as thats the way the car was originally designed. The look better with the Grey lowers imho.

Do what I did, I bought the Quattro GmBH front spoiler and side flares and painted the lowers. I also added the boot lid spoiler but these pics don't show it.

  7. Very nice indeed DS /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ok.gif

I love the front of the US' cars with no front plate and the orange side markers in the headlamps. Which states allow no front plate?

    Thanks BUB.

The states I know that don't require a front plate are Michigan and Indiana.
I'm sure there are many more but it's more common that they require front and back.

No, it's going to a vauxhall dealer...

They're literally the best in town for bodywork, I've known the guys there for years and I know they won't call me until it matches the rest of the car.
