paint code help

hi all, already researched it and found the link on here to a vaglinks pdf with vw/audi paint codes from 1994-1999 and it's not on there and when i search separately for the code itself nothing comes up, anyway it's l47z - some kind of dark blue apparently, basically i need a new bumper and was trying to determine the paint code to see if i need to spray it or not. my car is ming blue which is lz5l

all i can think is that he's misread the code and could it be la7z? is that even a code? any help would be appreciated, maybe l47z is a code just later than 1999...?

What's with all the other paint codes if you already know its this one?

I mean lz5l definitely exists and matches your ming blue- couldn't find anything on the other two. Maybe this can help-

haha just re-read it and it is a bit all over the place. basically i want to know whether l47z is a paint code and if so what colour it is
