So I keep pulling a P1292 code and I think my fan runs even when its not so hot or even the temp outside is cool...and I wanted to know what to check BEFORE I go about thinking it's the actual thermostat itself. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor behind the engine by the firewall and that has fixed my screwy temp gauge. Also if it happens to be the thermostat I have an extended warranty and would this be covered?
